    Spooky Tales in the Dark (October 18-26)

    Calling all ghost story enthusiasts! Experience candlelit tours in the dark through the home and kitchen house of the history-filled Historic Latta Plantation. Learn a bit about the history of the plantation while listening to first-hand accounts of ghostly tales from staff members and volunteers that are sure to make you shiver. After the tour, warm up with a cup of hot apple cider and cookies by the fire. 

    Kids Harry Potter Halloween Party (October 19)

    Hunter House and Gardens will be hosting another Harry Potter themed event just for the kiddos! The Harry Potter Halloween Party will have sweet treats and spooky games, finishing off the night with Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince on their giant 28ft outdoor movie screen! Reserve a firepit, bring a blanket and get ready for the perfect outdoor Halloween Movie!

    Boatyard Beer Fest (October 19)

    Introducing Boatyard Eats‘ first-ever Boatyard Beer Fest! Come for the wide selection of craft brews, stay for the Halloween festivities. Kids under 12 are free and get to experience trick-or-treating, balloon artists, and face and pumpkin painting for the perfect Halloween celebration. 

    Halloween in Huntersville (October 19)

    Join the Huntersville Recreation Center in their annual Halloween in Huntersville celebration! Enjoy local craft vendors, food trucks, balloon twisters, airbrush tattoo stands, bounce houses, and even a Halloween egg dash with 23,000 candy-filled eggs! Come inside the recreation center to take part in their costume contest, Dracula dodgeball, balling with the Boogieman, and even a maze!
