Barnstock 2018
Barnstock Music Festival has been in Huntersville for 10 years now. And to celebrate it’s 10th anniversary it’s going “Back to the Roots”. It will be held on 7/21 off of Black Farms Road. The event will host several bands and have food trucks.
This festival began as a high school service project that has evolved into a wonderful summer tradition. Three siblings started this even in 2009 and every summer since at the family’s property off Black Farms Road. At first, this was a way to support the Davidson Fire Department as a family neighbor was the Fire Chief there. But now the proceeds help support several charities such as: St. Judes Children’s Hospital, The American Red Cross, Second Harvest Food Bank, and a few more.
The festival first started with only 3 bands and only 3oo people, which were mostly teenagers. Just last year they had 40 different groups perform for over 1,000 people. It is now a 21 and over event and bring your own beverage. To read more about this event and the details, CLICK HERE.
